I started shooting an artist project last night that I’ve been thinking about for the last 7 years now. The start of a project, especially one that has been a long time coming, is always an exciting time and I’m looking forward to the portrait shoots I have scheduled throughout the week.
Here are a couple outtakes/tests from last night. This project is entitled “Whiskey Faces” and is a tribute to a time when a toast of the shot glass was as customary as saying grace around the dining room table (over and over and over again). I’m looking forward to reuniting with old friends and bringing together new friends to enact this ritual of yesteryears.
