Cindy & Eric’s Joshua Tree National Park Elopement

We’re coming up on the 2 year anniversary of these two, and since this elopement has always been a favorite of mine, I thought I’d share it on the blog today. Cindy & Eric already had an upcoming wedding planned in the mid-west, where they were also relocating for Eric’s new job. But Joshua Tree was too special to them and they wanted to say good-bye their own way, so they decided to elope there on the down-low. It was just the two of them, an officiant, and me as their witness and photographer.

A Practical Wedding (APW) Blog Feature!

How cool is it that APW featured  Katie & Mike’s Joshua Tree Hicksville Trailer Palace wedding this month?! I was so happy that they went as gaga for it as I did. It all seemed so sudden and strange at the time, but I suppose that is what I’ve come to understand about life.

Dana & Nelson’s Pipes Canyon Joshua Tree Wedding

Above image: A purple hue lingers over Dana & Nelson as the sun sets over Pipes Canyon in Joshua Tree, California.

I’m happy to share on the blog another of my favorite weddings that I had the opportunity to shoot in October of 2014 at Pipes Canyon Lodge. Looking at Dana & Nelson now really drives home the message that true-resilient-love is a big part of “Winning at Life 101”. At the risk of sounding bold here, livin’ ain’t quite the same without it.
