Last week was a really special one for me. Photographs I took during a 3 year period at the US/Mexico border (spanning from California through Texas) with AMBOS Project and Tanya Aguiñiga opened in a new exhibit W|ALLS: Defend, Divide and the Divine at the Annenberg Space for Photography.
I was away in Jamaica 🇯🇲 for 5 days this past September shooting Alex & Howard’s wedding at The Rockhouse Hotel in Negril. I’m still recovering from all the dancing I witnessed (perma-grin won’t unstick) and I freely floated in the Caribbean Sea and watched as tropical rains came and went. But really my favorite thing was being on Howard’s home country and meeting his kind family and closest friends and seeing the happiness on Alex’s face when she got to show her American family and friends a country that has grown close to her heart. Thank you again for including me in the party! Here’s a sneak peek of images (and a video of dancing I shot!) for you all. ✌️ Bless Up! & Respect!
Are you ready for this prom wedding that I shot last August?! My goodness, I had so much fun photographing this party. I always appreciate when people think “outside the box” and really, your wedding should be anything and everything you want it to be. With Christy and Stuart, they did just exactly that. I believe first and foremost that you make the rules of the party, and I’ll be as happy as a clam to photograph exactly how it went down. Promise.

I’m happy to finally share with you a collaboration I did with artist and musician Ernest Gibson. This album art was one of my favorite design projects of the year and I was so pleased with the final outcome. Ernest’s debut LP, ‘Island Records’, was released in November 2013 on Danish label Skrot Up.
