How cool is it that APW featured Katie & Mike’s Joshua Tree Hicksville Trailer Palace wedding this month?! I was so happy that they went as gaga for it as I did. Katie & Mike’s wedding was truly a sight to be seen… a small group of family and friends lovin’ on each other in the desert for a weekend. What a dream, some would call it paradise!

Rock N Roll Bride Wedding Blog Feature!
I’m happy to announce that Dana & Nelson’s Joshua Tree wedding was featured on Rock N Roll Bride this month! Rock N Roll Bride is the ultimate guide for alternative brides and I’m ecstatic to have the photos I shot last October posted on their blog.
Mid-Wedding Season Breather
Wedding season is in full effect and I’ve been keepin’ it busy, keepin’ it real.
I thought I’d take this time to stop and wave my hand around. I have a moment to myself after shooting 4 weddings in 4 weekends, but without this mid-wedding season breather update, how would you know? I have to write this for myself as well. It’s easy to write off all this running around as a “blur”. But it was so much more than a “blur”. It was 4 weekends of traveling to 4 destinations to photograph 8 really wonderful people. Everyone has their own story, their own worlds, and I’m constantly thankful to be invited into the fold, at least just for a day.

Dana & Nelson’s Pipes Canyon Joshua Tree Wedding

I’m happy to share on the blog another of my favorite weddings that I had the opportunity to shoot in October of 2014 at Pipes Canyon Lodge. Looking at Dana & Nelson now really drives home the message that true-resilient-love is a big part of “Winning at Life 101”. At the risk of sounding bold here, livin’ ain’t quite the same without it.
